Re: Wildlife you have seen 2015.

Thank you, but they were in front of me, Nom. A foot or two away, they were not shy.

Re: Wildlife you have seen 2015.

Got out for the first time in months today and it was down to the coast. My mobility is severely hampered now so only had binoculars with me.

Clearly missed the small passage of migrant birds, but the sea had a few seabirds and wildfowl of note. A late Arctic Skua harassing the Gulls, Widgeon,Goldeneye and Common Scoter heading North. And 3 Barnacle geese were the highlight.

Re: Wildlife you have seen 2015.

Where we live the wildlife that appears is usually a result of humans wrecking their habitats. There was a hawk at the town pool this summer. Deer keep popping up everywhere. In my best buddies neighborhood there is a deer family that people feed like feral cats. The group has been there some eight years so they must be eatin' good.

Much too close to home they've been closing some nature areas after bear sightings. More so than anything other fear...I don't want to ever see a bear. Two words " Grizzly Man".
