I used to feed lambs heart to the dogs..Never tried OH on it and dont fancy heart myself.

Do love a steak and kidney pudding though..

I like heart-and tripe(if sliced thinly and fried in butter and sage) But tripe looking and tasting like an old style nappy???-no thanks

I love stuffed lambs hearts. Calves liver is the best if you can get it, but not always easy and more expensive. Steak and kidney pie is fine too. Haven't had tripe and onions for years and years. Used to love it as a child.

Yes I watched it, I couldn't believe that she could not use a can opener!

Her food was undescrible.

My Husband and I were born in 1952 and we have proper meals.

I used to know what day of the week it was by the meals my mother prepared, mutton was one i did like, dont know if its still available.

Still most of us have survived on our rations provided in those times.
