A tale of two ends.

Finally got to see a couple of DVD`s about TV series that ended prematurely.

Serenity. after the first series of Firefly the show was canceled, very popular with viewers and a decent Sci-Fi romp.

The cast got back together for the film Serenity, in an effort to tie up the loose ends left when the show ended, passable but not quite the charm of the TV series.

Stargate Universe, the Final season. This box set had been hard to come by due to be only released in the USA on region 1.

Ive enjoyed the Stargate series and the different franchises over the years, this last set continues the journey but sadly ends in a cliffhanger and was canceled. A film to tie up the loose ends has been forecast.

Next stop will be the final Hobbit film in a few weeks, unless Peter Jackson decides to tackle the Silmarillion, he has stated otherwise.
