I try not to gal - you looked at things differently then I guess, even walking in the rain was good for me, but - I'm still a happy little soul at heart

Re: What A Wonderful World

Sorry Julie but the facts are that the world is wonderful to half of us to the other half it's a struggle to survive. The really depressing thing is that it needn't be like that. If, instead of warring, the same effort was put into providing the necessities of life, it would be a wonderful world for all of us.

I don't disagree but we don't help the other half by being miserable ourselves. Do you think they would be miserable for us ? I doubt it. We should make the most of what time we have here (on earth not on the forum )

Re: What A Wonderful World

Agree Julie, us being miserable would not help anyone and there are people in this country struggling to get through life, it's all relative. I'm happy now but have had some real downers in my time but life is what you make it. I am aware of suffering in other countries but that argument could last all night....or week, even.

Re: What A Wonderful World

I'm not a bit miserable Julie. My world is a wonderful world. I love getting out into the countryside and I frequently visit other scenic areas of the world. I just wish it were the same for everybody. PS I really like the song !!!

That would be an ideal - wonderful world Alan - if only......
When I look at beautiful places, I always think how can there be any crime here - why, when surrounded by such beauty - do they really not notice. That to me, is very sad .....

Re: What A Wonderful World

One of my mothers favourite songs and I think it's one that will go on forever, great old song. I see Theresa Green every morning going to work, she's my neighbour.
