Also an ex-smoker myself, been without for almost 2 years now. I, also, can relate to your liking of smoking. I loved it too, but with the rising costs and having that awful cough first thing in the morning, decided to knock it on the head. I would add that I still miss it, but I don't because I'm currently using the 'vaping' method with e-cigs.

Mollie darlin' I note you've been prescribed Statins. Be Careful!!! - I too have been prescribed Statins and originally they gave me 40 Mg of Simvastatin. After about 2 years I had to come off them as they give awful muscle cramps in the legs which can (and did) keep me awake at night. Nowadays my Doctors have swopped me onto Atorvastatin (Lipitor) 10Mg and these work a lot better.

Thanks for all of your replies. You're very kind indeed and I'm quite chuffed with myself.Uncle Joe, I have to take what I'm told and originally I was put on 40 mg of Simvastatin. Oh my giddy aunt! I'll try to be as polite as I can, but I was running to the loo all the time and it gave me bad stomach ache.
Within a fortnight of starting them, I phoned my GP and told him I wasn't going to take anymore and why, so he put me on 20 mg of Pravastatin, which I have as of yesterday had to double. The Pravastatin has been fine for me.
