Avocados ... The fruit with the colour and consistency of Palmolive soap, and the taste of candle wax. 😹

...that sums them up very well for me Margoletta I can only assume there are people who taste things differently to others .

I put them in the same category as marrows , that of 'why did I bother wasting time preparing this slop '

Vegan person I once knew said they were 'nature's butter'. Funny, I thought butter was nature's butter, was my reply.

I always thought I liked them, but the last few times I bought them they were too ripe and I thought they were disgusting. At the same time I realised I didn't like the texture of big, fat prawns either.
