Right from the first time I tasted them I loved avocados, it's quite difficult to get one that is exactly right in the UK as they have travelled a long way to get here and some of them have suffered from being refrigerated for too long or being picked too soon and then refrigerated.
The lovely creamy texture of a perfect avocado is one of my favourite things food wise and I have some great recipes for them.

I love them too. Had some yesterday in a veggie pita sandwich and I'll have more tonight. I like mashing one up and mixing it with plain sour cream to have as a dip or a side and I love tomato and avocado muffin sandwiches.

So me and Jen are in Italy-we get served these rock hard cannon shells-Scusa `l avocado non e mature.

I love them. I like them best mashed with lemon juice and then mixed with prawns.
