Dreadful News regarding Las Vegas Attack!

Breaking news about yet another attack, this time at a large Country and Western Festival taking place on the Strip in Las Vegas around 10.30pm when a gunman fired a machine gun from the 32nd floor of a hotel overlooking the hundreds of thousands of festival crowd. So far there are in excess of 20 dead and in excess of 100 injured. some critical.

My heart goes out to all those victims and their families.
Truly dreadful news. Police say they shot the gunman dead, but looking for his accomplice, one Marylou Danley, Asian, 4ft 10inch.

I hope they find her soon.

The Police are saying it is not terrorism.

Just another American mass shooting then.

Nevada has open carry gun laws.

Its their right to carry guns in a town dedicated to entertainment, and they will fight for that right to be upheld.

Other than the OP, no thoughts about the dead and injured, I find that a little odd. So far we have 50 dead and two hundred injured, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers etc whose families no doubt are in in great pain and anguish at the loss or injury of a loved one.

How many more times are we going to hear of a massacre in one or other American Cities??? and how many more times will those of us say its time Americans woke up and banned the sale of weapons??? and how many more times will the American 'right' turn around and say the carrying of arms is their constitutional right.???

Probaby it was the same after 9/11 sure enough people started to say America 'deserved ' it.
However in this case - sadly common in the USA the answer lies in their own hands .
As long as any raving nutter can go out and buy a semi automatic innocent people will die.
They must change their gun laws.
