Canadian Whisky

Anybody know what it is ?
Is it better or, heaven forbid, even worse than normal whisky (or whiskey) ?

What's wrong with normal whisky Rachel. I drink it all the time and have no complaints

Re: Canadian Whisky

I was being facetious

The booze is for a friend who did me a favour and he has mentioned Canadian Whisky, so I just wanted to know what the difference is ... and why it seems to be so expensive.

Lol....we have some fine whiskeys here....and some not so fine

As for the price, could have something to do with the exchange rate. I personally find all alcohol overpriced...lol

Re: Canadian Whisky

Canadian whiskey is very sought after by some. It's spooky that you should mention it because my mother-in-law had a clear-out yesterday and found an unopened Canadian Club Whiskey bottle with seal intact dated 1983. It is worth about £100 ! Bottles dating back to the 1960s fetch over £400 !

Re: Canadian Whisky

My dad was Canadian but used to prefer Famous Grouse. He did however like a drop of Canada Dry Ginger with it.

Re: Canadian Whisky

I think that Canadian Whisky just refers to made in Canada Whisky

If you can get it try Forty Creek Barrel Select, it's won awards for a fine whisky and costs no more than any other brand over here.

Re: Canadian Whisky

In my younger days I used to drink Canadian Club, found it nice and smooth and went down well, it’s very expensive here now I believe.
