Christmas Eastenders

I'm surprised no one has mentioned about Eastenders on here.

Corrie has always been my favourite soap but this Christmas Eastenders came out on tops by far in my opinion. Alright it was another rape storyline which is never a nice subject but I thought the acting between Linda Bright and Danny Dyer was just brilliant and if they or that programme receive an award for it they well deserve it as far as I'm concerned.

I've never been so desperate to see the next episode of a soap as I did over the Christmas period with Eastenders. Well done to the actors and the writers.

Did any one else enjoy it?

'Fraid not Alicat. I stopped watching it years back because most of them seemed miserable, argumentative, unfaithful or fighting! Prefer something a bit more light-hearted meself.

Now we can add rape and violence to the list!

Hi Alison there is a recent thread about EE here..

The acting was very good I though, Danny D is great at crying .
The acting of Nick Cotton in contrast is very stilted and poor I would say.

Hello Meg That thread is on Dogsey I've just written on that one although it is a different storyline.

I just think the new Carter family have re invented the programme

You're missing out Mups, that Danny Dyer is quite fanciable

Nah, seen him on a chat show recently Ali, and he's not my type I'm afraid. Good job we're all different though, or we'd all be fighting over the same bloke!
