Popstar To Opera

Starts Friday evening, anyone gonna be watching it? I will, it sounds really good. It's about popstars having training to be opera singers and one is voted off each week. Brilliant singers on there as well:

Bernie Nolan, Darius (I'm a great fan of Darius, and don't think he hasn't been doing anything since leaving Pop Idol and Popstars, he's been doing loads of musicals.) Kym Marsh, Meatloaf, Jimmy Osmond and a few more.

I think it will be great and worth a watch

Will be giving it a whirl Alicat like I do with all these types of shows! Just can't visualise folk like Meatloaf/Jimmy Osmond as opera singers though-should be interesting......hopefully

Did any one watch it? It was okay, nothing special, I hate opera anyway. Alex James was the first to be voted off.

I caught the last half. It looked fun, but I`d like to see more of the teaching process.
However, this is another one I`ll switch off when the public vote starts because the public are obviously tone deaf.

Only realised when it came on that Meatloaf was a judge-I watched it-it was different but easy to watch.....got to say there is always one of the Nolans popping up somewhere since they got back together...no doubt I will watch again this week, just out of interest of course and not because I somehow get addicted to these type of programmes...

Looks like I am the odd man out cos I thoroughly enjoyed it and will make sure it is on my 'to watch list'.
