Re: Soggy Wednesday

Morning Nero - hi all
A change in the weather here - still dampish but it's very very much warmer. Hooray!
What news from the south? Ermm, none really. The usual round of household chores, the need to think of something delightful to eat tonight, with roast chicken remains and a butternut squash (sounds spicey), walk the dog, hopefully, and see what comes up
Oh I am looking forward to getting back on the allotment

Edit9am update - Sunshine! Hurrah!

Morning all I have been too busy to pop in but made it today ...

It's foggy here but at least it has stopped snowing for a bit.

Hope you all have a lovely day, I think mine is going to be 'memorable' ..

Re: Soggy Wednesday

Morning Denis and Everyone. It is heavy snow outside, since 6 am this morning. The local bus services can't get up the the drives! One nearly went on its side this morning whilst another nearly ran into the front of it, going in the other direction!! No gritters out either! Cars are being left abandoned! Ah well, can't complain after our lovely sunny weather we've had here on the west coast since last week and the week before !

Enjoy your day no matter what the weather is like!

Take care.

Hi to All!

Have been out for a walk this morning, it was sunny earlier and feeling quite warm. The buds are starting to swell on some of the trees and crocuses are getting more abundant ..... onward we go!

Re: Soggy Wednesday

Sun at the moment, but can you believe they are forecasting more snow tomorrow?! Hedging on the amount, 4 - 6"possibly; just what we need when the old stuff is finally melting. This will be a primarily northern blizzard, we're on the fringes of it... supposedly. It's 3 (38 F) now. No errands today so a lie-in and the usual chores this morning.

The snow on the porch roof is melting, and I have a bucket underneath a drip by the porch steps to catch the water: I think the rainwater is much better for the plants than the chlorinated tap water; we shall see.

Re: Soggy Wednesday

A fairly wet day here and it's supposed to be even wetter tomorrow. Unfortunate really because I've got to lift a couple of rows of bricks in the block paved driveway. Virgin Media is coming on Friday to re-route the TV/broadband/telephone cable.

Re: Soggy Wednesday

The sun was shining earlier-it was almost `warm` in the greenhouses so it was good to be sowing a few things.

Then the gym later-I`ll ache tomorrow but it`s been a couple of weeks since I pushed some weights and at my age it never gets easier, tomorrow is yoga class so that will be kinder
