Fuschias

Our hardy fuschias are usually showing some sign of life by now but at present we can't see anything appearing. Anyone else noticed this please?

Re: Fuschias

Ours are showing life but we have a very secluded garden and they have been in the Greenhouse.
All our plants are about 3/4 weeks behind due to the very cold weather that we have had.
Our strawberry's which we started picking in early May last year are just starting to flower.

We''ve got no hardy fuschias showing yet either - I think most things are later this year

Re: Fuschias

Thanks for your replies. I shall just have to be a bit more patient then.

Re: Fuschias

Next doors' garden is filled with hardy fuchsia, I noticed the odd bud showing today, so patience is the order of the day Stella
I looked at my Lady Boothby, which is in a sheltered spot but showing no signs of life My greenhouse cuttings and plants are flowering merrily

Re: Fuschias

I noticed the tiniest signs of red shoots at the base of one of my Fuschias today ........ it must be due to the warmth of the past weekend. Also I thought I had lost all my Agapanthus in the very cold winter but to my surprise they are also showing signs of life.
