I was threatened with Contemp of Court when the judge declared I could now call myself M/S and asking him would my ex be then called M/Stir. Then wanting to know why not.

Miss, Ms, and Mrs are all short forms of Mistress - try using that next time someone asks. I once did and the reaction was hilarious!

LOL .Same as being called Madame. I am always tempted to tell them I have yet to run a brothel .

When I knew my young nephews they did the same, and it always irritated me that they didn't precede my name by Auntie. Wholly my sister's fault for not instilling some respect and manners, I felt.

As I haven't had any contact with them for over 10 years now it doesn't matter...
