Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I've got another appointment with the Consultant arranged. I hope my PET scan is at least a week before that otherwise there is no point in seeing the Consultant as he won't have the results by then.

I bought my favourite pastrami and brie sandwich for my tea. I'm looking forward to it. I've lost a few pounds as, although I've been very sedentary, I've been eating less.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

Today is the first day since getting out of hospital that I've arranged some grocery deliveries from Tesco.

I was too paranoid before about having lots of perishables which would go off if I had to suddenly go into hospital like I have before. I could arrange someone to get my keys, go home and remove the goods but it's a bit of a faff handing my keys over and I don't like to bother people.

I got plenty of fruit, some veg, some mince to cook with and various ready meals, cereal, cheese, yogurt and a few other items - £43 worth, so I'm looking forward to its delivery between 4 and 5 as I don't have much in the house apart from cereal

Good for you Dreamy. I just hope you have enough energy to cook.
You seem positive today. That is a good thing. x

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I've been up since 7:30, a little earlier than normal lately. I do feel quite positive but am still worried about getting my PET scan done at least a week before the 13th when I see the Consultant.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

Strange sleep I had. Only about 1 and a half hours then I awoke at 4am. Have been listening to music.

My TV has recorded more than I can watch.

EDIT: Some good news, I received a new PET scan appointment for the 6th of September with me seeing the consultant on the 13th. My mind is a little bit more reassured after missing the last one.

Glad you got the PET scan and consultant appointment sorted satisfactorily, Ffosse.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I had a 12 hour sleep last night...must have needed it after only getting a couple of hours the previous night.

I'm feeling well; the only thing troubling me is my sore back but it's been that way for a while.
