Re: Your weather

Rain overnight but the sun had returned this morning.

Unfortunately it has clouded over again in the last hour...

Overcast, 30 C (85 F), not too humid and a nice breeze.

Re: Your weather

Dry morning then around lunchtime rain, thunder and lightening and then.....torrential rain and flash floods. There was a river running down the road and the drains wouldn't take the rain! My front and back gardens are flooded as is my garage and the force of the rain has more or less brought the Ivy down off my garden wall Quite a few years since I have seen so much rain come down.

As my back garden is on a slope, the rain lodged outside my back door and I ended up with jacket and wellies on trying to brush it down the drain. Even the frog that was having a swim in the pool that had formed, eventually scrambled for dry land! Has eased off now, but apparently more to come tomorrow Blaming today's rain squarely on St. Swithin's shoulders. When are we going to get a break from it????????

That's awful, merz! I do hope it stops soon, you will need that Ark blueprint.

So do I Dandysmom....a dinghy would have come in handy this afternoon! Not as bad as some places nearby though-in one street a car was floating down one road and people were wading putting sand bags down!

Re: Your weather

The weather has been weird this year; we've had severe flooding in parts of the midwest and down South ... cars floating in the streets, etc. And I noticed the temperature in Moscow of all places. was in the 90s' F today!!

Thankfully I was able to take Hatti for long walk this morning and managed to get back before it started.

Don't know when it will dry out.......lashing it down at the moment again. Doesn't matter about the hosepipe ban, which apparently is going to go on until December, as I'll not have to water anything for at least a month, unless we get a heatwave....I wish!
