I can never find out who we actually owe this money to. Considering other countries are 'borrowing' too, there must be some very rich people to loan it.
Personally, I think it is governments keeping the populace on the edge of their seats by saying we owe it.
What would happen if every country refused to pay it back and we all had a clean slate?
