Fall/Autumn

Fall is just around the corner now.

I love the Autumn when the trees turn gold and red. They are so beautiful and the air is so refreshing....

How do you feel about Autumn, knowing Winter is just around the corner?

Good for photo opportunities. Better temperatures for the dog.

Autumn is good - the blackberries are ripe, the Apples, plums, Damsons, Elderberries, sloes are all ready to pick and can be brewed into wine or made into fruit gin!!! (hic)

Autumn can be nice, but I hate the ever lengthening nights...

I'm with Orangutan on this one. The long dark nights setting in depress me

Re: Fall/Autumn

I like autumn, I prefer it when the nights get darker as it is a bit easier to sleep, especially as I go to bed early.

Oh yes, Joe, all those fruits are ready for picking. The Italian Plum is so good right now. This is the time to get it.

Re: Fall/Autumn

Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The air is crisper, the nights cooler, and the colors of the leaves are beautiful. We're heading to the cottage next week, for the month of Sept. Not too far south of you, wild blueberry, right alongside the New Hampshire/Maine border. Listening to the loons on the lake is a pleasure in itself and they will soon be heading south as the season changes.

Re: Fall/Autumn

One of my favourite times to go out on the motorbike.
Lovely scenery and not too hot in all your kit.
Just have to watch out for those slippery leaves on the roads!
