That would work. What we pay (although I don't) to the BBC gains us nothing that we can't obtain elsewhere and at better, non-woke quality.

Why not pay it to the NHS, but with the agreement that all of the non-productive senior management would be disposed of?

Just reduce what the NHS delivers and increase what has to be paid for. We will NEVER provide everything that could be delivered free at the point of demand so let's not even try. There are other ways from insurance to cash on the nail to tough luck-suck it up.

Well, SF, you have every right to continue paying your BBC Tax if that's what you want.
Rather anti-British though, if I may say so.

You might find, though, that as more and more people stop paying, your payments may have to increase to compensate!

The comment is both valid and correct without any hint of stupidity. I am well over 75 and continue to withhold my now long overdue licence fee alongside many other over 75's.
