Chocolate coated Coffee Beans

Just acquired some more of these today and I can't stop eating them

Anyone else tried these?

Yes, |I assume you mean a proper coffee bean covered in choc as opposed to a choc coffee flavoured bean with a crispy shell?
They used to be called confectioners coffee beans and I used to make a coffee gateau that had the top decorated with them. They were a pain to get hold of and most sweet shops sold the choc ones which weren't the right sort! The proper bean ones covered in shiny crisp choc were expensive but yummy and I used to get them in Selfridges food hall.

I bet i'd have made more gateaux if Julian Graves had been around in the time I was full on baking lol They cost loads from Selfridges!!!

Mmmmmm..... they look delicious!

There is a Julian Graves here so I might (will!!!) pop in there on Saturday and get some. I bet they would taste nice on top of the coffee ice cream too!

It was only a couple of months ago that I found them - thought I'd give them a try and now they're like an addiction

A few weeks back, they were half price and I almost bought the entire stock
