I know OGF, I was just pointing out that the admissions in the study were people who had only been given one dose. But the study itself indicates that even one vaccine is working well to greatly reduce hospital admissions. So two should really enable us to get back to normal. I certainly hope so to make it all worthwhile.
I know I keep banging on about the Yellow Card Scheme, but I have just found out they do a weekly report on the latest vaccine news.
If anyone fancies flicking through it, here it is:
Is it true its likely we have to have another vaccine in autumn? Hope not I'm not sure after what happened to me after the last one I could cope with that.
My daughter had her first jab at 8.00 this morning. She was given the Moderna vaccine. It will be interesting to see if she has any reactions in the next few days.

My son had the Moderna vaccine a couple of weeks ago and the only side effect he suffered was a slight feeling of nausea which came on after he had eaten - that lasted about 4/5 days. He is absolutely fine now so hopefully your daughter will be the same Mags.

Thanks Margaret, that’s the first reaction I’ve heard with Moderna vaccine. I’m pleased it was just a slight feeling of nausea your son had and he’s fine now.
Thanks for posting that Mups, very interesting.
I suppose reactions in some are only to be expected on such a massive vaccine rollout. Having the vaccine will certainly be an asset to most people.
