The sun is shining but very cold outside.

Off to Oak Furniture Land, was going to order a new Sofa and Two armchairs, plus a dining room table and four chairs, but need to measure them first.

Cold and bright here.

Not got any reason to go out today other than dog walking so I'll be staying in and keeping warm. Will probably be re-sealing the inside of the kitchen windows.

Good Morning everyone,

Sunny, cold, and lethal underfoot. When I suggested those cats might like a walk in the sunshine they gave me their most supercilious look - washed each others ears - and went back to bed!

There is a head of celery lurking in the 'fridge, which I am going to turn into soup - if I make a cauldron full it will last me a few days. Have also a lovely gammon joint to cook for lunch. Will do cauliflower cheese, braised cabbage, carrots and mashed potatoes - should keep me gainfully employed for a while.

Good morning everyone another frosty start.

I can't believe I was up before Chloe who is always asking for her breakfast at 6 am, she seems ok maybe it was just too cold to leave her warm bed.

The ironing awaits and homemade soup for lunch.

Good morning everybody.

It's quite bright here this morning - not even any sign of frost. We are so lucky to have evaded that bad weather.

Tony & I hope for a walk in the woods today and a pub lunch.

Good morning all, white over here but just frost thank goodness, forecast to be milder now though cor a few days...

Just finished clipping the hounds and enjoying a coffee before visiting my Mum to check she's OK .

Good morning all. Another pretty day with the frost glittering in the sunshine. Just on my second mug of tea.
Roasting a large chicken for dinner. There's only two of us but I can always find plenty of things to do with the extra.

Good morning all a frosty morning and snow is still laying on the ground. It was -6 degrees at 7.00am.

The birds have been busy at the feeders this morning so I need to wade through the snow later to top them up.
