Mary Whitehouse was such a wonderful woman, NOT!
I discovered this had been written in a Birmingham newspaper.
But Midland watchdog Mary Whitehouse, who set up her Clean Up TV Campaign in Birmingham, and later led the National Viewers and Listeners Association, gave Jimmy Savile an award – to celebrate wholesome family entertainment.

I'm BACK....but I am keeping my mouth clean as perhaps some old Whitehouse lady (not you Ruthio or anyone else on this thread) has perhaps reported this thread already and we will have to get on our suit of armour as we slide down on the spiked ramp to the dungeon.....I hope that cookoo clock isn't going to go on and on...I used to have one in my hall, a little bird comes out every half hour and nearly drives you to drink!
