Wait a minute! No! I disagree Todger......
Every time my birthday comes round I advance in time by one year..... Now that's linear.....
That depends on the frame of reference. Time is affected by gravity. And as gravity changes so time within a frame of reference likewise changes.

Only know I gotta go now

It's been proven in many different ways. Just Google "Gravitational time dilation" - there's loadsastuff on the net including write-ups on real life actual experiments up to the math behind it.

Re: Real Time

Real time doesn't matter on a forum. A reply to a topic or post might appear 20 seconds, minutes, weeks or longer after the original post was uploaded. Yet, no matter what the interval of time is between posts, comments all appear one under the other as if no time had passed at all.

Re: Real Time

I am using a new theory, for my exercise program.

I am convinced that, if I jog around the field backwards, I get younger & younger.

Trouble is, I keep bumping into people which causes any negatives to go positive!

Yesterday, I met myself coming out of the front door!

Ted, you need to get a mirror placed in your porch ... that way you'll see yourself coming and won't run into each other and hurt yourselves.
