Loosing stuff

I regularly misplace things & it drives me mad!

Currently I am searching everywhere for my mobile phone - I know it's here somewhere.

I regularly misplace my glasses and keys - important stuff that I need.

Once I didn't find my keys for a fortnight & then by mistake in the pocket of a coat I don't wear.

How can I ensure I don't keep loosing things?

Do you have a method?

Yes, I do that sort of thing.

You could phone your phone from another phone. Found mine a few times that way.

I also phone my mobile phone number with my land line if I’ve mislaid it.

Re: Loosing stuff

Carol mentioned elsewhere on social media her mobile was on silent, so she couldn't call it. I suggested looking in coat pockets, remembering the keys saga, but see she has already mentioned those.

Annoying isn't it?
At least I have something of an excuse - and no, I don't blame it on my wife...........................

Re: Loosing stuff

I lost a DVD the other day, looked in all the boxes I keep DVD's in & even accused Son of borrowing it.
I then decided to look again & the darn thing was in the very first box I'd looked in. Was it hiding, did it disguise it's title, I'll never know, but strange things can happen, the DVD was Good Omens.

Does it still give a vibration noise? That can still be an aid if so.
