Re: Do You Know Your Liver and Onions?

Chickens liver (you might need to pull them apart a bit) chucked into a very hot wok and tossed until all the liquid has dried up and they start to brown, add a glug of red wine and serve.

The stuff they sell in supermarkets tends to be well and truly butchered by those with no knife skills

Go to a proper butcher and let him/her slice and prep it. ask for thin slices, a good butcher knows how thin

I like to fry up a couple of onions and add some mushrooms then chuck in a defrosted pot of chicken livers. You may need to chop them up a bit, some of those chickens must be enormous. Add some crushed garlic, delicious.

I like chicken livers added on my glass noodle meal. They're tasty and delicious.
