Joking aside, I hope you are feeling better today Art. I'm not sure what the 'Zigzags' are but it doesn't sound nice.

Omah, l don’t know why these manufacturers have to change the recipe or add chemicals?
If it ain’t broke why fix it?

Apologies, I've duplicated some of your info - you posted while I was researching .....

They're off my list, too, now .....

I'm guessing that when these company mergers take place the new owners maximise profits by also merging the manufacturing processes, which nowadays cater for a world market with different tastes .....

Thanks Jazzi. I know what you mean, luckily I don't get migraine but do sometimes get headaches and I can sort of relate to the flashing lights thing.

Re: A Bad Reaction To Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts

I used to love liquorice allsorts but don't eat sugary things these days so haven't had any in years.

It's such a shame our old trusted companies being taken over and loved items being filled with rubbish.
I remember being given a KitKat a couple of years ago and it tasted disgusting and of cheap artificial chocolate nothing like the Kitkat of old.

I hope you feel better soon Art.

Re: A Bad Reaction To Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts

I used to like them but they always give me the squits

The recipe will have changed because, as with everything these days, they're making them cheaper

Hellmans have really mucked up their thousand island, smaller bottle, using more vinegar so it's runnier and jacked the price up
