Re: Bohemian Rhapsody

Omg! I bought the dvd as a treat! Wow, amazing! Very well cast too, you could hardly tell the difference from the real band!
I saw Queen in Sun City, the lights went up after a few minutes and they told us they would have to cancel the show. I wonder if that was the beginning of Freddy's illness. We had a choice of money back or new tickets. We travelled such a long way from The Transvaal we couldn't do it again. Big regret.

I'm glad Freddy's dad accepted him and glad he came to England.

Re: Bohemian Rhapsody

Gosh loved it loved it loved it

Want to see it again of course....emotionally I'm wrecked but what a film and what a talent he was....and yes what casting I agree the bloke who played Brian May was so like him I kept thinking ...it's spooky

If you haven't seen it yet....don't miss it...I saw it on IMAX and I felt as if I was there with them on stage....brilliant movie.

I knew you would love it Summer.

I felt really emotional when I saw it (all 4 times)

I cried buckets with my sister when he died and the film reminded me what a musical genius he was and how this world will forever miss his talents.

I Love watching Queen and Freddie videos on youtube and I especially love to watch the videos where Freddie and Queen are having such fun together. Its a strange feeling of both sadness and happiness if thats possible.

For me there will never be anyone like Freddie Mercury and I only wish that the findings of the medical world with regard to fabulous news we heard yesterday about HIV positive people no longer necessarily dying anymore had been here when Freddie was ill with the virus himself.

I do so wish he was still with us making his beautiful music and being the entertainer he was born to be.

Ahhh, RIP Freddie, I hope he is entertaining my sister up there in Heaven, she adored him as much as me.
