I don't know if squirrels go under sheds, I know they hide stuff in the ground. Do they eat plum stones?

I haven't seen any squirrels about, it's quite a large estate and no sign of them until you get about half a mile away,also the gap under the shed was only about an inch or an inch and a half at most.
I think it must have been a mouse, very hungry one. I must Google to see what eats plum stones.

If it’s a mouse then there is probably more than one.
