A song of a prostitute.

Who made a cover version to this song?

This song makes a lot more sense.

I did - they played it for a week or so, on the local radio, it never made it .....

Apart from me, though ..... there are hundreds of cover versions, but I'll guess that you are thinking of the Animals version, released June 19, 1964 .....

Frankly, having learned my version from Nina Simone (1962) and Joan Baez (1960), I thought that both Bob Dylan and the Animals did the song a great disservice .....

Re: A song of a prostitute.

I liked the Animals version enough to learn how to finger-pick the chords.
