Re: how close are you to your family?

I’m very close to my family. Not all relationships are warm and fuzzy but I put my best effort towards family because in my life, it’s important. Since my parents failing health, my brother and I get along better than ever. I get along really well with my husbands family. My brother in laws sister is a great friend of mine. I’ve got 8 nieces and nephews. I don’t see them often but I see family more often than many so I have no complaints.

I'm close to my kids. Since my elder sister died her family don't bother with me, my other sister is a horrible woman so I don't see her at all.

200 miles, just about close enough.

Re: how close are you to your family?

My hubby and my twins all live together, so very close.
I only have an Uncle with last stage dementia, and my Godmother left, they are both in care near to me.
All the rest have passed away.

Re: how close are you to your family?

My son lives with me even though he is 55, never married. My daughter and I unfortunately estranged since her father died. Just one sister out of three I am regularly in contact with the others just mainly at weddings or funerals.

Re: how close are you to your family?

My three sons, their wives and my fourteen grandkids are all really close. Four are in New Zealand and one is in the Scottish Highlands. They visit us often and we visit them. Those that live so far away are frequently on either Skype or Facetime.

Re: how close are you to your family?

We are a close family, always have been. We have flare ups now and again but they are soon forgotten. The air is cleared and there is no bitterness and resentment.
