I would love the GP system to be part of the NHS. Pressure on GPs would be decreased. Appointment durations would be increased. But more GPs would be required, so the taxpayer would need to pay more.
Big corporates would foot most of the tax bill. But the big pharmaceuticals' profits would be decreased, which means that research and development would suffer. So there would be fewer drugs developed and released, which means life expectancy could be decreased.
It's all very complex, but I would like to see the GP system incorporated into the NHS because then GPs would stop making excuses about not being able to syringe my ears!
I always thought GP's were a part of the NHS?
And they get paid by government on the size of the practice?
IE. Each doctor gets fee from government for every patient he has
on his books that gets treatment from that doctor in that year ?
But each doctor has the right to treat privately alongside his poor
patients?
But that was years ago before they bastardised the NHS with
these local so called "trusts" ?
It seems to me that rich people think they are subsidising poorer
people's health and have been trying for some time to alter things ?
In the beginning they had seperate private suites in NHS hospitals
but whether this still prevails l doubt due to the proliferation of
private health facilities now ?
Donkeyman! 🤔🤔
