Lord only knows. Forgot to mention the other, perhaps even weirder, aspect that by doing so they had to pay for their parking once they found somewhere to park!! (naturally they had free parking outside their own house).

When I was a child cyclists had to have licence in my home island.

And somebody will lobby the govt to do it Spitty; That's the most annoying thing....What's the matter with people these days, instead of looking after their own lives, they get so easily offended and have to complain about others....
Everyone seems to be in such a hurry these days.....

Re: Anti Cyclists

The main complaints seem to come from those who would never be seen dead on a bicycle.....But want to spoil the fun of those that do......Errrrr... Perhaps I should have worded that differently.....

Which island?

BTW - I owe you an apology. Outlandish on my part indeed

Re: Anti Cyclists

I think cyclists should have insurances…should they pass a test, maybe a theory test that includes the highway code.

Maybe an enforced speed reduction on all city roads of 20 mph might attract more cyclists due to safety issues.

That sounds interesting Tess, wish they could do something like that here...
