Moved to UK in 2013, no details.

May 2018, Muhammad expressed a “false interest” in joining the British army in order to visit the Castle Armoury Barracks in Bury and that he had also searched military and armed police bases online.

Look where being tolerant has got us, giving people the benefit of doubt. The authorities can't track and trace individuals if they have little or no information about them.

Effectively, off the radar.

Based on the load being placed on the UK sewage processing plants(!) a figure of in excess of THREE million illegals is closer to reality.

Believe it or not measuring the sewage flow gives a very accurate estimate of the population.

Re: Illegal migrant or Genuine Asylum seeker?

Makes no diffference and a lot of hotels are (or have been) housing people from different countries . There's one near to us with 75 people being housed from Syria, and another housing temporary workers in the UK . If you remember, everything stopped in March, including farm workers, including interviews for assylum, including applications for refugees, and no doubt there are many hotels housing the same people near to you too. They are usually called 'homeless' .
I didn't know until a couple of weeks ago there were/are two near to me and if we didn't know, then why would Farage know ?

Re: Illegal migrant or Genuine Asylum seeker?

I recently 'e' mailed home office complaints about the amounts of
migrants arriving in uk by whatever means, and l easked them two
questions,
1/ what are they doing about the excessive arrivals on our shores
by illegal immigrants recently?
AND
2/ why are our government continueing to fly large numbers of
Syrian/ Sudanese/ Ethiopian/ etc,etc into this country whilst the
illegals are still breaking our laws to gain entry??
They put me in touch with our border force wh told me that they
are building up the resources and to deal better with these illegals
in future! They also said the home secratary will soon be bringing
changes to the laws as well to allow a more robust approach to
this problem?
They did not answer my second question concerning the flights
into uk by our government whilst there is this illegals problem?
So l -e' mailed again pointing this out, and they then put me on to
a home office department called something like the office for
the ressettlement of displaced persons resettlement scheme, who
told me this was an old established scheme set up for humanitarian
reasons and that it still had a couple of years to run but that it had
almost reached its target of l think it was 20,000 resettlements!
So, there you are, it seems we have plans to reduce the illegals
But, l ask why is it taking so long to do?
Is someone blocking or delaying things for some reason andnwho
is it, a politician or a civil servant?
I would like to ask more questions of the home office but they only
operate through the complaints office and you cannot engage in
direct debate with them, for obvious reasons!
I suppose if enough people e mailed we could clog the system but
it is a time consuming business?

This is why you email your local MP because it is their responsibility to deal with issues their constituents have. If the local MP get's enough emails telling him/her that the constituents are not happy with the governments tackling of illegal immigration and as a result they will vote at the next election somebody else, that MP will sound warning alarms further down the line to party HQ that something needs to be done or their will be trouble come next election, in that the MP might not get voted in next time.

Only when MP's fear they will lose their job will they then take action. Also, if the MP does nothing, you can go to the press armed with the email saying your local MP does not take immigration issues seriously enough. That will cause party big wigs to stand up and take notice.

Yes you are right Dodge, that is the way to go! And l did do that when
Theresa May was boss and ( Sir ?) John Duncan was my local MP!!
I also used to go to the local tory office to protest at the attitude of
May led tories and request an audience with Sir John?
Of course he was always busy in westminster!!
But, they did both resign or stand down eventually so maybe l did
assist in the cause??
Since then of course, we have had the virus so we have no way of
directly interacting with our representatives? So l tried another
route to voice my displeasure at the way hings are being handled
as regards the migrant issue!!
What more would you suggest??

Re: Illegal migrant or Genuine Asylum seeker?

Boatloads of illegal migrants arrived on the coast of kent today
assisted by our so called border force!
This time they included children and women, one of them heavily
pregnant!
At last a select committee in parliament has met to discuss how
to combat this invasion? It is reported that suggestions of calling
for the royal navy to be on call to intercept them when needed?
This would be a waste of time and money if all they are going to do
is to bring them ashore in the uk as is done at present by the
border force imo?
Perhaps what should happen is that the royal navy offers to assist
the french coastgaurd to pick them up and return them to where
they should legally be, (which is france)?
Surely the french can have no objection to our giving assistance to
their obviously overwhelmed forces??
We could even deliver them directly onto the beaches they departed
from to save the risks involved in seaborne transfers !!
Minus their boats of course?
It is long past time this illegal trade was stopped!

Re: Illegal migrant or Genuine Asylum seeker?

Just listening to an item on the radio where during the night reporters have been shadowing a fishing boat with 17 people (including a pregnant woman ) crossing the channel . It broke down and the border force had to rescue the migrants.

Apparently the French authorities are reluctant to intervene because when they do the migrants threaten to jump in the water.

Sadly international law leaves us with no alternative.
