I didn't agree with everything she did, but on average she beat any other PM hands down.
You were right about our government and the political system though Bruce, there are too many backstabbers and gravy train passengers, both then and now. Loyalty seems to be a rare commodity now.

In particular Communists like Scargill.
If she had not crushed them we wold be a Third World by now.
I say this as a Socialist and a Union Rep, albeit one who has never Voted for Strike Action.
My issue is this, no consensus after she won, unlike others such as Germany.
We are the best engineers in the World, she destroyed that.
