Forty years ago

Forty years ago a mouse would have been something that ran into your house, making you stand on a chair.

A keyboard would have been a musical instrument

A post would have been either a letter or somewhere to attach your washing line.

A tweet would have been the noise a bird made

A forum would have been something from Roman times.

Sky would have been what you saw when you looked up.

Probably sweetie but I was hoping for some contributions.

I just find it amusing that if I Google the word Sky, the results have nothing to do with our atmosphere.

All the news readers and announcers on the BBC spoke good English...
