UK terminology/lingo

I accept that this is a UK focused forum.

It’s just that there are times when I feel like chop.

I struggle to understand some common UK terms so if it’s Minx asking you to please explain the term, please do or I’m going to look so foolish. I’m lost in translation…

I’ve got half a brain - promise

Do you struggle with some terms/terminology?

Boys used to be told, usually by their mum's that if they pulled their plonkers (masturbated) it would affect their eyesight.

Thought it was also partly due to actual pupil dilation

It's what authoritarian adults used to tell children to deter them from the disapproved of activity. That was way back when children were innocent enough to believe it, of course.

What does "I feel like chop" mean, btw?

Re: UK terminology/lingo

I love how SA folk always say "it's my pleasure" when you say thank you to them. We should adopt that.
