Actually, much of our lawn is a moss which, of course, doesn't need mowing. Still, that excuse carries no weight with Marge.

Swede!I decided to make a stew for the first time in years, even managed to buy a turnip, which seems to be rare these days.
I had quite a bit of trouble peeling veg with my hands not working properly and hurting, then I got to THE SWEDE! Most of which I couldn't even make a dent in and most of what I did manage to chop off shot across the room straight into Dolly's water bowl.
Well, I now have a sort of potato, carrot, parsnip, turnip and (a bit of) beef soup.
I also found out that trying to use Bisto granules is not the same as the powder fot thickening.
Lots of crusty bread might make up for it hopefully.
Tin of Big Soup next time
