My electricity bill is going to go up that is for sure , but I have a plan ... having a water meter fitted which will save me a ton of money per month as I'm currently paying £46!

Another concern is the bandwidth I use. Used 200GB already this month! I have unlimited Fibre broadband but I bet there is a cut off point. Still that won't hold me back as I could pay a little more for Business Fibre, and, or, have a 2nd line put in.

A few days ago I received a statement from NPower. They wanted to put my DD up from £123 to £199 per month, which is insane.
Rang and spoke with a person, told her what I thought of it and she said OK.
I'm sticking to the £123 .... sorted

I switched to a water meter last year too and expect my payments to go down considerably .... eventually

That is why I refuse to let a power company get my money by regular DDs. I read the meter, submit readings online and I get the amount owed come up immediately. Then I can straightaway pay online, if I have the money in the account. Sorted.
