Re: Elsie

Thank you everyone vet rang just after I left for work to say he has an appointment for her they are going to see her at Guildford fitzpatricks on Wednesday, they want her in quick to do full tests and scans to see where we are.

No insurance but still have major part of Stevens inheritance and can't imagine anything better than trying to save Elsie's life with it so we will take a deep breath and say money not a problem to them.

I would do the same Julie. Fingers crossed that all goes well for Elsie and that the cost isnīt too over the top.

Brilliant. I'm sure you won't get better treatment anywhere else for her Julie.
What luck you have the funds too.
Now try and get some sleep and see what tomorrow brings.

Fine sentiment Julie, but as long as it's in Elsie's interest.

We've been in a similar situation in the past, and there are many out there willing to offer you hope and as much treatment as you desire at a price, but is putting the animal through these procedures always the best thing? That is, of course, for you to decide in your case but we opted just for palliative care, and made the best of the time he had left. We often look back and still think we made the right choice for him and have never regretted it.

Re: Elsie

Oh absolutely agree Barry we won't put her through anything just so we can keep her, it has to be in her interests.

We have prepared ourselves for the worst tbh even though she is young better to let her go if that means less suffering for her.

Have had conversations with family and although upset we are all trying to accept it may be best.
