Re: TV licenses and the over 75s

If you think about it, nothing is actually 'Live' anyway. There must be a short delay between the time it happens and the time we see it.

Radio 4 gets on my ****. It used to be a great station but now it is obsessed with muslims, blacks, Lesbians, Gays and Indians (sometimes all at once) Oh and plenty of unfunny lefty type humour.

I agree. Radio 4 used to be a sensible and informative station. I haven't listened to it for some time now for one reason or another, but I suppose like everything else BBC, it is moving steadily in a trendy lefty direction.

Again, not what I have always regarded our national broadcasting organisation ought to be.

The root cause is that the nature of the British nation has changed and BBC is reflecting that change.

No it hasn't.

The number of left-wingers has reduced noticeably, certainly if you look at the votes in the last GE.

It might appear otherwise because, like empty vessels, the lefties shout the loudest.

By "left" do you mean socialist or liberal? There's some confusion of use of the term liberal because in the US it seems to be the same as socialist.

Both. Both Labour and the Limp Dems are effectively left wing. They are both in the minority these days, thankfully.

Its not the political climate that's changed, though it certainly has, its the strange and alien "cultures" that have been encouraged to distort and destroy so much that once was just the British monoculture.

Multidemensionism - another unwanted un-mandated toxic thing forced in by Blair.

OK, so we all know aunty beeb has lefty leanings, so I don't see the problem.

Just a bit of light relief ...

We all love the old dear, and know exactly where we stand.
