United Kingdom was the United States' 7th largest supplier of goods imports in 2018.
*U.S. goods imports from United Kingdom totaled $60.8 billion in 2018, up 14.1% ($7.5 billion) from 2017, and up 3.7% from 2008.*U.S. imports from United Kingdom account for 2.4% of overall U.S. imports in 2018.
*The top import categories (2-digit HS) in 2018 were: vehicles ($11 billion), machinery ($9.3 billion), special other (returns) ($5.3 billion), pharmaceuticals ($5.0 billion), and mineral fuels ($4.3 billion).
*U.S. total imports of agricultural products from United Kingdom totaled $824 million in 2018 (so less than 2% of total exports to the us). Leading categories include: snack foods ($119 million), cheese ($60 million), wine and beer ($53 million), red meats, fr/ch/fr ($51 million), and live animals ($47 million).
