They are terrific Mollie, the first one of the bridge I am particularly fond of because near where I live is an identical one over the canal, the only difference is it has no rails. I learned to swim across the narrow strip of water when I was very young. Sir William Rowan Hamilton had a mathematical brainwave passing the bridge and there is a plaque on the side of the bridge to commemorate the occasion.|
