South West Australia December 2018
Some photos taken on a recent trip to South West Australia over Christmas, the weather was certainly a bit better then back home in the UKA couple pink lakes which were just by the side of the road on the way to Albany
This lot were taken in Two People Bay Nature Reserve which is a short drive outside of Albany
The very nice Little Beach...
This is a photo of the Field of Lights which is currently in Albany and to quote the website for it is "an immersive art installation by Bruce Munro
illuminating the Avenue of Honour at Mt Clarence in homage to the Anzacs who departed from Albany for the Great War"
A couple from Mount Brown Lookout at York on the way from Perth to Albany
More might follow if I get around to sorting them out!

I think they can get a lot pinker than that one though.

Thanks! It sounds like it is algae that like the Salty lakes which produce carotenoids, such as Dunaliella salina. I have learnt something today anyway I think they can get a lot pinker than that one though.
