I think you are absolutely right - over 200000 cases each day and no sign of it flattening out.

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Just read the start of this tread. It's fascinating how this sneaked up on us. We didn't take it too seriously as there had been so many scares in the past. Being told to eat soup, get plenty of sunshine and vit C.

Watching Arizona doctors on the news today just brings the crisis mode back. They locked down late and opened up early. Now they are dealing with the consequences of complacency.

It seems that we will all be wearing masks for a good while to come, maybe even gas masks if there's yet another deadly virus.

Boris wearing a mask today - has he had an antibody test and found that he no longer has resistance?

Another death in Australia bringing the total to 107 and another 216 cases in Victoria.

Pretty dire down there, lets hope it doesn't spread.

Victoria has now become Australia's pariah state with all sister states now banning their residents.. Their socialist leader was too complacent by opening up before ready and now thousands of people are back in lockdown far worse than previously. The epicentre of the new cluster are a group of public housing towers in Melbourne. Residents of these high density blocks often share facilities like lifts, corridors, rubbish facilities and laundry rooms — making the chance of running into someone far greater.

Ah yes, Blackburn. Like Oldham, Rochdale, Bradford, Dewsbury, Leicester, and other such places.

They all have something in common, but I just can't think exactly what it is right now.

I think you'll find "no new infections or deaths today" is because today hasn't finished yet .....
