I don’t receive a card nowadays but I do get a bouquet of flowers. I doubt I will receive any this year though what with the lockdowns.

I got three Valentine cards two years ago and two last year.

Years ago, before l was married, l received a massive tall box of flowers from someone. I never found out who it was. All the card said was, ‘From a guy who thinks you’re gorgeous’!!
I even rang the florists who delivered them to my place of work but they wouldn’t tell me. Spoilsports!
It would’ve been nice to thank the person who sent them.

Yes I got several when I was single. Got wed and it all stopped. Nowadays like Mags my new-ish partner gives flowers and usually a meal out.

I am not a fan of made up celebration days such as this one, but my Lovely Cousin has been giving me Valentine cards since she was in her early teens, and I think it would be churlish of me not to respond in kind.
