Re: Post election backlash

The broadcast media still hasn't come to terms with what's happened.

The newsreaders and reporters faces look distorted, clearly struggling to accept that voters have done it again.

Just check out the range of Stalin's objectives. Not all but many exist in the direction the EU has been taking right from the get-go and it's getting worse.

Post election backlash
To be expected from a few lefty hot heads fired up by Momentum's vision of a new utopia with lots of money for everyone without having to work for it.

Hopefully they will get a dose of realism and shut up soon.

I was not the least bit surprised with the Conservative win only that it was larger than I expected. All the signs were there out in the shires of the way things were going.

I am sure Conservative central office knew too but sensibly played it down so as not to seem overconfident or to put people off voting because the position was 'safe'.

The problem with many politicians and some in the media is they don't actually listen to all the people just those they wish to hear and that is particularly the case with Labour. They live in their metropolitan bubble and read too much socal media fuled by smart-mouthed lefties which gives them a false perception of reality.

I agree and most those loud mouthed lefties have never had what I call a proper job where they have to justify their salary and they certainly never created jobs

Re: Post election backlash

Originally we joined the Common market so trade between European countries was easier.
Then the politicians saw a chance to get more powerful and started laying down dictates of what we were allowed to do or not.

This got to such a state they wanted to rule over everything making Europe one country in effect. Well this was too much to the majority of this country so we elected to leave.

Now the Remainers did absolutely everything to try and stop it as they could not accept a majority decision. this included going to court to block as well as in the Houses of Commons.

Which shows they are extremely bad loosers while those wanting to leave did not fight back half as much.

Now the worm has turned, and we are going, so the leavers have won irrespective of the worn out opposition, yet they still can't accept what is going to happen.

I say to them all " If you want to stay in the EU community them go live abroad where you will be happy".

That would do away with a lot of our problems- no housing issues- less cars on the road- less imports needed- more hospital beds available- plenty of school places.

Re: Post election backlash

Corbyn's back up .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social...kers_Party_(UK)

The SWP describes itself as a 'revolutionary socialist party' and considers itself to stand in the 'tradition' of Leon Trotsky. It also shares many of the political positions of other Trotskyist groups, a tradition rooted in Marxism and Leninism (see for example Tony Cliff, Marxism at the Millennium.[117]) In common with other Trotskyists the SWP defends the body of ideas codified by the first four Congresses of the Communist International and the founding Congress of the Fourth International of Leon Trotsky in 1938.
