More killing
With all the publicity recently about that pig of a dentist who shot 'Cecil' the lion, I admit I didn't think of the other animals who also suffer this fete at the hands of mankind.
I have just read about a 9 YEAR OLD BOY from Canada, who giggled with his pals after he had shot and killed a brown bear, using a high-powered rifle.
Apparently the trip had been arranged as his birthday 'treat' by his father, who guides hunting parties in Alberta, Canada.
What is the matter with these people? Where does this blood lust come from? Are some people born with it? Are they taught by example? What pleasure do they get from taking an innocent life? Isn't there enough killing in the world, without killing purely for prestige and pleasure?
To my mind, that man should be thrown to the bears himself. That would be the best punishment for him and those like him. I also think the dentist should have been given to the lions to play with.
