I am with Yorkshire Water. Used to pay £30 per month - had a meter put in - now I pay only £12 per month. I was told that if I changed my mind within six months I could have the meter removed - I don't think I will be doing that !!

Thank you everyone. It's fascinating to see all the different prices.
Alarming too !!!

I have a feeling before I was on the meter that I was paying £24 per month.
I'll see if I have any old Bank statements to check. I know Mum was paying £12 or less after she had the meter installed.

I was paying £44 a month, had a meter fitted a few months ago
and its £9.80 a month ..now, i do live on my own ...

Useful tip for all of you on Water Meters, try diluting it.
