Tirzah always follows me to the loo. It doesn't matter what time of day or night it is, she rushes up the stairs to get there first, only to have a wash when she gets in there.

Perhaps she is just making sure you remember to wash your hands!
All my dogs have escorted me to the toilet, each and every one of them. Don't know why. They don't do it to my OH, but then he shuts them out in the hall and they've learned that.

Mine lies half in and half out. Curls round it might be a better description.I can't close it. or open it further to get out. One of my daughters has said he is attached to me at the hip. Probably not far wrong.
